Karel’s letters written during travelling
In Thailand now, southeast of Bangkok a bit. That city was too much of
a zoo for me and glad I escaped.
“I continue to have you in my prayers for your safety and that you will
have just good experiences, so God will be w/you and protect you against
all evil and keep you safe.”
Speaking of which, I JUST discovered a great thing that has greatly improved
my life here so far: a restaurant down the road where I can get a mobile
signal (for internet). The place where I am staying at does not have a
signal and the guy forbids beer, garlic, onions, eggs, hot spices and
who knows what else. But it is an interesting concept and I think it is
a good cheap and safe way to travel across Asia (networking with organisations
to work for a few hours a day in exchange for room and food). So my smarts
and strategy is keeping me safe, but definitely with my travels over the
years I have seen God's hand in my safety and I try to thank and praise
Him as often as possible.

On another note, within the last couple of days I formulated some potential
strategies for Asia. I like how I came here with uncertainty but that
very quickly things are opening up for me. The people are certainly nice.
Anyway, two options are on the table at the moment: get a bicycle, some
sort of portable solar panel, maybe a tent, and bike it across Asia, perhaps
mostly along the ocean so I could go swimming after getting sweaty; and
the second is to build some sort of tree houses in the rainforest and
create an eco-tourist place which would eventually generate revenue, combine
it with permaculture in the jungle, and use it to educate tourists about
harmony living with nature. Already have one place that has agreed and
that would be totally cool.
