Dear Outsourcer,
I am a mechanical engineer and foreign trade specialist. I have started making translation in 1998.
At the beginning it was just a hobby which helps me to use and develop my English. But by the time translation has nearly taken the place of my real job, as everybody in engineering sector and foreign trade would like to work me as a technical sworn translator or sales engineer. So I liked this job, and in 2001 I have become a sworn English Turkish translator. In this language pair, I can make translation in every subject but the ones that I like more have been specified above. As I am working as a freelance translator, I have taken fast writing (fast typewriting) courses. Now I can type 30 words /minute. On the other hand, this year I have taken Trados 2009 Suite and Multi Term 8. These have contributed acceleration to my translation works and helped me to satisfy my customers.
In conclusion, I would like to find new companies that I can work together for long periods.
