I have been working as a freelance translator for the most reputable agencies in Turkey, performing English-to-Turkish and Turkish-to-English translations for the past seven years. I have acquired experience in a variety of subjects such as legal, government and local municipality affairs, finance, business, newspaper columns, tourism, advertising, among others. I have translated well over 20,000 pages to date. In my last freelance assignment I produced English-to-Turkish web content for Booking.com generating over 100,000 words per month.

I reside in Istanbul and have dual citizenship of Turkey and the USA. Having spent half of my life in the USA and the other half in Turkey, I possess excellent command of Turkish and English languages and have perfect grasp of idiomatic and formal usage in both languages.

I have superb computer skills with proficiency in using Trados, MemoQ, Google Translator Toolkit, MS Office Suite and the internet. I am also a fast typist and use ten fingers.
