My minimum rate is 0.13 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.16 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 35 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 40 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 2007.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Interpretation (consecutive), Subtitling, Copywriting, Web-Design, Teaching (Language Courses).

By today, I have translated about 100,000 to 500,000 words.

I use the following tools: SDL Trados, Passolo.

I am best in the following fields: Arts and Humanities, Automotive, Computer Software, Computer Systems and Networks, Computers (General), Engineering (General), Engineering (Industrial), Engineering (Petroleum), Games / Computer Games, General, IT / E-Commerce / Internet, Industry and Technology (General), Localization, Manufacturing, Photography / Graphic Arts.

I am not a sworn translator.

After receiving a degree in Japanese from the University of Vermont, I lived and worked in Japan for nearly a decade. Throughout this time I was continuously involved in freelance translation (primarily for automotive companies and schools in the Nagoya area) and translations on a community volunteer level. For the last 4 years I've been contracting for various companies in the United States, most recently Mitsubishi Aircraft. I enjoy translating Japanese to English very much, and I am confident that I can translate any source material with great care and attention to detail in any style preferred by an employer.
