My name is Menti. I have been in touch with English since I was fifteen years old. I was so crazy about the language which was the reason why I enrolled in English Department of Andalas University in 2000. I took linguistic as my major there and as my final paper/thesis, I wrote about translation. It was tittled \"A Preliminary Study of the Translation of Figurative Sense from English into Indonesia as Found in \"The Client by John Grisham\". Basically, I tried to analyze how the translator of the novel translated the figurative sentenses from English into Indonesian and What methods the translator used.
