As a freelance translator and interpreter for language pair German/English, I am looking for new opportunities to build working relationships with established companies. I am a native English/German speaker with 25+ years of linguist experience in a wide variety of industries. Living in the United States I translate primarily German to English. My language expertise in English is backed by college course work in the English language and writing as well as employment in corporate settings in the USA for more than 20 years. In the past 5 years I have been employed exclusively in the language field as both, an interpreter and translator. As my resume illustrates however, my translation and interpretation skills were utilized and fine tuned throughout my corporate career as well. Most recently my expertise has been focused on but not limited to medical, technical, hospitality and legal document translations.



I am based out of Orlando, FL, USA and will accept assignments or calls for any industry. No job is too large, too small or to difficult. I am available up to 30hrs per week with an average of up to 2000-3000 words a day depending on the complexity, format and legibility of the text. My rate per word is USD 0.06 – 0.10 but I will accept any reasonable offer and I am open to negotiation to accommodate the client\\\\\\\'s budget and needs.
