Since childhood, I have been inspired to learn languages and to understand as much as I can about different cultures. My background is in teaching, but recent studies in English, French and Spanish have fostered my love of words and my attention to the small details that make all the difference in a text.

For this reason I have established myself as a freelance translator, garnering a strong reputation for producing quality translations on subjects such as engineering and fashion. This has included boiler manuals, parts lists, spreadsheets and commissioning reports. I have also translated brochures relating to solar energy, restaurant websites and fashion textbooks.

My interest in current affairs and hours spent poring over newspapers, journals and of course novels has given me the ability to make a coherent text that is true to the original.

As a translator, I take pride in painstakingly checking work and researching new terms in order to produce my best, and I am happy to work to deadlines and to consider a variety of projects.
