Experience:
I have been working as a freelance translator and subtitler since October 2009, and I teach subtitling part time on the Leeds University MA in Audiovisual Translation.
My previous in-house experience includes:
- 4½ years as an in-house subtitler with Visiontext (now SDI Media), UK
- 6 months translating, proofreading and editing texts from a variety of genres for Eurologos, Brussels
I also worked as a medical secretary and health information advisor for 3 years, giving me invaluable knowledge and experience for medical translation.
