I spent the third year of my undergraduate degree programme working as a translator in Germany (Cologne) and France (Lille) for a period of 6 months in each company.
Following my graduation in summer 2007, I spent a further year in Germany (Berlin), first working as a project assistant in a large pharmaceuticals company from October 2007 to March 2008, followed by a translation position in a telecommunications company from April 2008 to August 2008. I then returned to England to gain my MA Translating, which was completed in October 2009. My time abroad not only considerably improved my language skills and knowledge of these cultures, but also enabled me to gain professional translation experience. Together with my postgraduate translations qualifications, this means that I can provide a high-quality and reliable translation service.
