Services include Japanese-English and/or French translation. I can provide services of document and literature translation primarily along with interview/conference translation and interpretation services. I use a client needs based approach to translation, meaning that my approach to translation will differ based on the needs of the client and the way that the translation is differed. For example, if detailed contractual information has to be conveyed accurately, I will use a more foreignised translation, one that is more faithful to the source language at the compromise of the fluency of the target language, with any misunderstandings based on compromises of the fluency of the target language resolved through consultation and clarification. Of course a translation for a magazine or article would be approached with greater fluency and readability of the target language in mind, but this kind of approach can be consulted upon.
