I am a native English speaker who has both lived and studied in England for 22 years and is now living and working in France. I am therefore perfectly bilingual in both French and English and have been awarded the certificate of BA Honours in modern languages, which has enabled me to consolidate my language skills and translation techniques.

I have previous experience translating from French into English whilst working as an in-house translator in Marseilles, France. I was required not only to translate, but also to dictate and transcribe texts in both French and English for multinational institutions such as Eurocopter, CMA CGM and Suez Environnement.

As a freelance translator, I also have experience translating technical documents for both translation companies and individual clients, and specialise in the translation of technical documents and patents. Due to the quality of my work, I have been called to interpret in both French and English on behalf of Transword at the Court of First Instance of Marseilles, France and am currently working on a 4-year translation contract with the British Ministry of Defence. I am willing to work evenings and weekends in order to fill deadlines and for urgent translations where necessary. All translations are \"human translations\", and undergo thorough proofreading before completion.
