Since the age of 15 I have known for a fact that I wished to devote myself to translating and interpreting. However, it was not until the midst of my university degree that I realised why. I had just asked a friend, who was pursuing Medicine studies at that time, which specialisation he had chosen. “Internal Medicine,” he answered, “because it allows you to know it all”. It was at that point that I realised the same reason had driven us to choose our professions.

This insatiable curiosity, together with my passion for languages —an accidental consequence of being daughter to a teacher of English, attending a Franco-British school and my regular study trips abroad, led me to enrol Translation and Interpreting studies at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

Ever since then, I have had the chance to focus on institutional, legal and economic translation and interpreting. This has been possible not only as a result of my specialisation at university, but also to my time at institutions such as C.E.A.R (Spanish Commission for Refugee Assistance), the Spanish Ministry of Justice, the Embassy of Malta in Madrid, the United Nations and the World Intellectual Property Organisation.

I translate from English, French and Portuguese into Spanish, my mother tongue, because I am completely certain of providing excellent work in this language. Translating requires a conscientious and responsible effort, two of the qualities that characterise me both at a professional and a personal level. I would to put them at your service, together with my commitment to excel through hard work.
