But I prefer to work at 0.06 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 30 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 10 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 2008.

By today, I have translated about 100,000 to 500,000 words.

I use the following tools: SDL Trados, Wordfast, Across, memoQ.

My name is Melania Ortega and I am working as a full time Technical Translator (English-Spanish) at Lexmark in Budapest (Hungary).

My native language is Spanish and my translation pairs are German-Spanish and English-Spanish. I studied Translation and Interpreting at the University of Granada and I am a certified translator for German-Spanish named by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain. Since 2008 I work as a freelancer translator.

In addition to this, I continued my studies in the field of International Trade and I worked several years as Export Assistant and Export Manager. But when the opportunity of being a full time translator appeared again on my path and I did not hesitate.
