To whom it may concern,
I am a graduate English-Spanish Legal Translator. So far, I have gained experience in many of the fields of my profession. I did formerly work in business and financial companies divisions, training and couching corporate staff under due supervision of a private consultant.
After a given period of time, I started translating documents concerning marketing research and sales of corporate products, business communications, and other related documentation. At the same time, I continued training private trainees and corporate staff independently.
In 2007 I was hired as part of the staff in the Clinical Research Area of Johnson & Johnson to assist the development of clinical research studies. I started to gain training in the translation and internal supervision and validation of clinical documents together with physicians and biochemists within the department. It was then when I acquired significant management of the clinical jargon. I was also encouraged to work with the Legal Affairs department in the development of Contracts and Grants. I participated in the translation and negotiation of International and Local Agreements. Early in 2009, I was asked to coordinate and supervise the translation of clinical and regulatory documents. In the performance of these tasks, I was in charge of selecting and dealing with outsourced translators, coordinating translation timelines for the projects, and finally correcting and validating the translated material.
Finally, by May 2009, I decided to start my English Language Consultant, providing both translation and training services for companies and private customers.
I hope my experience be of your interest, since I regard a job opportunity in your organization a significant experience in the development of my career. I will be glad to provide you with any additional information upon request.
Thanking a lot your consideration,
Luciano N. Luque.
