My name is Andrea Chaos Estevez. I’m a Spanish student of London south Bank University. I’m in the third year of my course and the last six months I have been working as freelance translator for different companies, such as language consultancy services (in which I worked through different rates).

I have an official Spanish degree in which says that I have been studying English full time for five years and consequently I am eligibly for translate and teach English in all Europe.

As practical experience, last year I worked as simultaneous translator for an English company, based in London. This company was specialized in leather jackets and I had to travel with them to different Spanish cities as translator from English into Spanish and from Spanish into English. This job gave me the opportunity to work as a real translator and get the knowledge of what really mean work under pressure, such as the fact that someone is waiting for an answer.

Indeed, as I have studied and worked in different areas I can translate from machine tutorials, to stories, to IT documents and so on.

About me I have to say that I’m a really hard-working person and also I consider myself neat in all the jobs that I do. An example is a translation that I did few months ago. This was for a computer games company and they wanted me to translate from English into Spanish but with a specific number of words, because of the game settings. This was not an easy job because Spanish use to be more extensive than English, but I did it and now every time that they need a Spanish translation they call me.
