Apart from my regular job in this area, this year I had the great opportunity of working for the United Nations Volunteering Programme. Also, since 2010 I have been translating voluntarily for ACDI Adopción a distancia, a child sponsorship institution located in Santa Fe, Argentina. I had the opportunity to translate correspondence between the sponsor parents, the children, and the institution itself, as well as several types of reports and documents. Also, I am a volunteer translator for CAWST, Canada (Center for Affordable Water and Sanitation Technology) since 2011. I work mainly with case studies, articles and reports for technicians and investigators; and also with games and activities for people to learn the importance of consuming drinking water. Most recently, I worked for a collaborative project for the Central American Women\\\'s Network (CAWN). This NGO supports, publicises and learns from the struggles of women in Central America in the defence of their rights. WHY WORKING TOGETHER? 1.
