I am very familiar with translating and editing demanding texts from various fields of work. I have strengthened my technical vocabulary working as a commercialist in a company trading in hydraulics and pneumatics. As a secretary with a pharmaceutical firm, I worked with medical and legal terminology. I had also worked on a Phare Twinning Project SI02/IB/OT-02 (European Social Funds Implementation). I now edit theses (university degrees) and translate abstracts into English. I also translate for several Slovenian translation agencies (Preteks, Alamma Lah & Co, Eurolingua, IQ d.o.o. etc.), because I enjoy translating and editing all types of texts and intend to pursue my interests further. My main fields of work are law, finance, social studies, medicine, pharmaceuticals, insurance, tourism, travel, and marketing. I usually translate approx. 2000 words per day, possibly more, if the circumstances so require. However, my priority is maintaining high quality over mere production capacity. I pay attention to the style and different shades of meaning so I can adequately translate them into my native language. And, lastly, I love my work and I continue to educate myself in the field of linguistics.
