Videogames, localization, software, freelance, literary translation |

I\'ve been studying English for 17 years & translating video games for 6 years now. Used to work for such Russian localization companies as Snowbal, Soft Club, 1C, ND (both games & soft departments).
I used to translate ingame texts, users manuals, web-pages & sound files for games on every platform availiable (PC, X-box, Wii, PlayStation, Gamecube, PSP). Have some experience in editing someone else\'s translations. Worked mostly with offline games but also was in teams that translated some MMORPGs: WoW, Guild Wars, Warhammer Online, Tabula Rasa. Used to translate projects for kids: games & learning soft.
I\'m good at translating literary texts, such as dialogues, ingame books & letters, user manuals and so on. Not too good with cars & wargames, though I used to translate those too. The best games for me to translate are some fictional, fantasy, quests, children games, economic strategies or basically any online game.
The fastest way to contact me is via email: masakiti@mail.ru. I\'m willing to make all test translations needed. My rates are negotiable also. I\'m sorry to say, but due to Russian PayPal accounts limitations, I cannot receive payments via this system. |
