To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Anya Turner. I am very interested in working as a translator for your organization. I am highly proficient in both English and Russian languagues (both written and verbal). I am originally from Vladivostok, Russia but have been living in the United States for the last eleven years. Ideally I would like to work from home. I spend several hours a day on the computer and have a great internet connection.

Attached is my resume. As you can see, for the past seven years I have been working in the human resources field. However, prior to my position with Utah Higher Education I worked as an interpreter for a large hospital in Salt Lake City (University of Utah Hospital). In addition, I also completed ten hours of training to obtain a certification in legal interpreting from the state of Utah. Finally, I have volunteered my interpreting services on many occasions. For example, in 2004 I interpreted for the Moscow cross-contry ski team when they competed with athletes from Utah.

I recently relocated to Indianapolis where my husband is completing his medical residency. I am a stay-at-home mom, but have free time during my child\'s naps that I can dedicate to translating.
