I am a professional freelance interpreter with over 25 years of wide experience interpreting between Russian, English and German (ad hoc) and, simultaneously, into Russian from English and German as well as into English from Russian .

My experience covers a number of fields (e.g. international affairs, legal, financial, culture, medical, business and general as well as oil, computers and telecom, engineering and automotive). I interpreted simultaneously at a number of international conferences including the 1998 Birmingham Summit, at the Doha, Qatar World Energy Congress a few years ago and at CIS oil and energy congresses, various Russia and CIS trade and promotion conferences, etc. and assisted ad hoc at many negotiations (e.g. for companies such as BAE and Rolls Royce).

I am Russian-born and educated (University of Moscow graduate) trained as a translator at the Institute for Scientific Information, USSR Academy of Sciences, Moscow, and as an interpreter at a special working party in London. . I have been working in Britain over the last years and am a member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting and of the Institute of Linguists.
