USA born 52 year old man.Due to Missionary parents I was raised in Brazil from the age of 6 in 1961 until I came back to USA in 1973. Grade school, high school and some college in both Portuguese and English languages. While in Brazil worked as an English teacher for several schools. Also worked as a volunteer medical translator on the US SS Hospital Hope Ship While ship was docked in Maceio, Alagoas, Brazil.I also worked as an interpreter and Bi-lingual tourist guide in the North Eastern part of Brazil.I have since also mastered the spanish language.
Other than teaching, medical translations and bi-lingual tourism I have also had extensive experience translating and Iterpreting in the religious areas. My language and communication skills are used daily in the manufacturing environment. |
