My name is Carlos Praun, I live in Blumenau, S.C., Southern Brazil, and I really want to add efforts to the English to Portuguese translation market.

I am really committed to do a best job in the translation area. I have full time availability, the best knowledge and fluency in English, and the best writing in Portuguese, my mother language. I take full responsibility regarding deadlines and confidentiality. Primarily, I tend not to base my translations in MT, unless by request.

I have been fluent in English for more than 40 years, since I was still in high school, and I studied all the possible and available levels of English, i.e., basic to advanced, literature, commercial, a due ‘Michigan Proficiency Certificate “ (1976) and also a ‘BULATS’ (Upper Intermediate – B2/3 - level 4/6, 2014), Cambridge, UK.

I’ve been working mostly with foreign trade, namely from 1984 to 1995, and from 2000 to 2015, and have been out of business for the last three years, being now in a licensee condition, pay off, for personal reasons, and therefore having the possibility to dedicate full time to this activity.
