Please can my services as Volunteer English-Portuguese Translator and Interpreter be considered.
 
Here is a summary of my Language skills and interests:
 
Native Portuguese living and working in the UK for just over 3 years now, good level of proficiency and working knowledge in both Portuguese and English.
 
Bilingual with working knowledge of both Portuguese and English having worked in the areas of Customer Service, Sales and Business development for over 12 years.

Activist with good cultural background, high cultural awareness, knowledgeable in current affairs and several areas of interest including Literature, Cinema and Culture in general, Health, Science and Technology to name a few.

I would be delighted to be able to conciliate my activism with gaining more experience towards achieving my career goals of working in Languages - both Translation and Interpreting namely in the Community Support and Development sectors and also Language Tuition.

I am currently studying towards achieving the IOL Diploma in Translation.

 
Education summary:
2007/2008 - (Unfinished) Degree in Oriental Languages and Culture - Minho University (Braga, Portugal) – Entry Exams passed with distinction, info publicly available at Minho University website.

University lessons where taught in English and prior to university I\\\'ve undertaken 8 academic years of of English Language study including Translation Techniques to which I\\\'ve added up over 10 years of self-study and language skills development.
