My minimum rate is 0.04 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.12 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 25 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 15 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 1993.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Subtitling.

By today, I have translated about up to 10,000 words.

I use the following tools: SDL Trados, Memsource.

I earned my Ph.D. in economics (economic development specialization) in 1998 at the New School for Social Research in New York, U.S. I had spent 9 years in the private sector (research firm and economic research institute) and 5 years as a visiting professor in a Tunisian university under Korean government sponsorship.

After the visiting professor contract expired in 2012, I became a stay-home full-time translator (both English-Korean and Korean-English). This is a familiar job for me because I've been doing it since my graduate student years and occasionally do it during my full-time employment days.

I am a highly responsible person who has never missed a deadline. I am also exceedingly meticulous in small things like punctuation. As my academic background is in economics, my strength is naturally in economics and business. But I completed many projects that lie outside my specialty, including IT, current affairs, and the like.

In addition, I am an avid reader of subjects such as ancient history (Europe, the Middle East, and South Asia) and international development in Africa.
