As a Danish patent agent and later as a European Patent Attorney (now retired) I have worked with patents for more than 40 years within most technical fields except for the specifically chemical area. The last few years I have worked as a translation supervisor for a translation agency and still later as a translator of patent specifications, mainly from English and German into Danish, previously also occasionally French-Danish. My experience stems from several thousands of patent translations. I have an MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Copenhagen.
