I am a postgraduate in Translation and Interpreting at Newcastle University and I am writing to explore the possibility of being as a translator and interpreter.
When I was in China, I began considering future employment as a freelance for translation and interpreting. I admire those who can convey information literarily and elegantly from one language to another. I also respect those who, making the most of their quick linguistic mind, interpret one language to another and express themselves politely and accurately. It is a tough task but a great challenge. I have experience of being a volunteer interpreter for the Cultural Exchange Project and of translating personal CVs, essays and so forth. I really enjoy the atmosphere of surveying information between two totally different cultures.
