Working as a translation administrator currently, I am responsible for translating documents related to technology and websites with the use of Trados and other computer-aided translation software. I was admitted by South China Morning Post as a translator in the summer internship programme in 2007. During the programme, I was responsible for the business news translation from English to Chinese on the SCMP official website. Other documents, such as editorials, advertisements and internal files were also given for translations. As a graduate under the Department of Translation in the Chinese University of Hong Kong and being a student studying a master degree in Japanese Studies for the Professions in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, I am enthusiastic about doing translation in different languages and I would like to contribute to your company.
