Details of the project: Good Evening,
Presently, euroscript is looking to secure a contract with the European Parliament by responding to a call for tender for the translation of verbatim reports of the proceedings (Call for tender No EN/2012/CRE).
The texts cover the translation into English of the verbatim reports of the proceedings of all the plenary part-sessions of the European Parliament and of the proceedings of all the Conferences of Presidents open to all members which will take place from mid- November 2012 to mid-November 2016.
We must be capable of translating from all the official languages of the European Union into EN, directly, without passing through a relay language:
Bulgarian,Czech,Danish,Dutch,Estonian,Finnish,French,German,
Greek, Hungarian,Italian,Irish, Latvian,Lithuanian,Maltese,
Polish,Portuguese,Romanian,Slovak,Slovene,Spanish,Swedish,
Croatian (Croatian will be used if and when it becomes an official language of the European Union).
To participate, translators/revisers need to fulfil the below requirements:
o successfully complete university level studies in any discipline
o have a minimum of two full years’ experience in translation
o be a native English speaker
