Details of the project: This project is a platform that supports online advertising products. This task is to help train search algorithms for the platform. This is a work from home position requiring attentive and motivated individuals. It involves labeling websites based on given criteria. The successful candidate will work within a web-based application comparing user search engine queries and advertiser keywords with website landing pages. The Label Editor must judge the relevancy and relationship between the page itself and the query, keyword and ad snippets on the page.

Required Skills/Background
- Ability to recognize patterns and draw conclusions from those patterns
- Desire and interest in doing research when a term is unfamiliar or not understood
- Ability to pinpoint the core meaning and intent of keyword queries
- Decisiveness; Ability to independently make quick decisions under time constraints without
- Critical thinking skills (defined as: the analysis, synthesis, evaluation, and reconstruction of thinking).
- Fluency in English and in French (both written & oral)
- Must reside in Canada for last 15 consecutive years, for cultural awareness purposes
- Excellent Communication skills – both written and spoken
- Ability to work under little to no supervision & with tight deadlines
- Ability to clearly explain and defend editorial decisions in both written and verbal form
Technical Skill Requirements
- 2+ years using Windows OS
- 2+ years using Internet Explorer
- 3+ year using Microsoft Excel
System Requirements
- High-speed Internet connection (DSL or cable)
- Secure access to personal computer running a recent version of Windows (Vista or XP)
- Microsoft Office, Adobe reader and WinZip required
- Personal computer must have at least 512 MB of memory and 1.5 GHz.
Education/Certification Requirements
University/College Degree level or foreign equivalent: Preferably in human sciences such as Psychology, Sociology, Library Science, etc.

Details of the project: Details of the project: I need native FRENCH speaking persons who can create effective language teaching manuals, with the objective of teaching essential communication. The objective is not grammatical correctness or mastery, the objective is to be able to communicate. Generally it takes only around 200 words to make a casual conversation and manage everyday life in a foreign language. I am looking for persons who can intelligently pick those 200 words and use those as building blocks to create sentences, starting from small sentences to bigger sentences.
This is how babies learn to talk!
If you understand this concept, and you can create a manual that will give the user the language mastery of a four year old native toddler, that is what we need!
The manual will include audio also (we will provide software for audio recording if needed)
Basically this is what I am looking for:
1.Identify a core vocabulary list that consists of the words that can be used the most in every day conversations so that day to day activities may be accomplished without any problems. This would include common nouns, verbs, adjectives, prepostions, conjunctions etc.
2.Design a way in which these words can be used in a variety of circumstances, and how to build on that basic knowledge to build simple sentences to communicate with.
Example:
words: want, hamburger, cheese, dont want, one more
I want
I want a hamburger
I want a hamburger without cheese
I dont want a hamburger
I want one more hamburger
I want a ticket
I want a ticket to Helsinki
3. Use imaginative settings in which the person can make those conversations.
Teach basic grammar on the way.
Design the manual in such a way that a person can finish it in one month, and be able to manage a basic conversation
Try to imagine how a baby learns to speak, how she uses a small list of words to communicate with the parents, and then builds on it.. our goal is to do the same thing, except it is faster and we try to accomplish in a month what the baby accomplishes in 3 years.
Create audio clips of each conversation.
The total fee for the project is $400 (US) I would like the project to be sent in 4 instalments, and when you email me each set of lessons, the payment will be made by western union or paypal (four installments of $100 each)
Upon completion of payment, I will own exclusive rights to the material you create. Each time you receive payment, I will send you a acknowledgement form that you have to sign and send by post that grants me total and exclusive rights to the material you sent to me.
The project should be finished by March 30 2010. There is some flexibility on the deadline, but it would be great if you can finish it by then. If this is not sufficient time, please tell me how much time you need so that I can plan accordingly.
