Details of the project: ETASHA is a not-for profit NGO working
in the field of Career Guidance and
Vocational Training for underprivileged
youth.

Currently, we are working on a Project
involving conduct of Career Guidance
Workshops in Andhra Pradesh. The project
involves conduct of Career Guidance
Workshops for youth. In the workshops we
use brief write-ups on different
careers. The workshop material is a
copyright of EduServe Consultants, an
affiliate of ETASHA. The Career write-
ups on different careers used in the
workshop require to be translated from
English to Telugu.

The total workload is 200 write-ups,
size ranging from 300 words to 1300
words; average size about 600 words. The
translations are to be in language
easily understood by the below-average
high school student; and the entire
write-up should be read and understood
in 10-15 minutes. So, it is best to
transliterate the technical words, while
keeping the English word in brackets.

The process we will follow is:
I will e-mail a soft copy of a sample
write-up to you.
We would like to use any of the Telugu
fonts available in MS Offics
Alternately, you could use the font you
are comfortable with and mail the font
you use to us.
I am mailing a write-up on Accessory
Design.
Your translation needs to be mailed back
urgently.
I will have the translation read and
confirmed by a Telugu educationist.
If approved (i.e not requiring excessive
editing), I will confirm our working
together.
Thereafter I will send batches of 5
career write-ups at a time.
As you mail the 5 translations (along
with an in-voice for the work done), I
will e-mail the next batch and courier
your cheque for the completed work.
The payment terms are Rs.700 per 1000
translated English word
Further, please be aware that this is
copyright material and the English as
well as Tamil versions are our
intellectual property and can not be
shared or used. Also, all our material
is strictly confidential.

This work is required urgently, as the
workshops are planned for April- May.

Kindly confirm your availability for
this work as well as the number of
write- ups you will be able to translate
per week and revert with the translation
at the earliest.
