Details of the project: Our client needs to translate small texts from English to Swedish. This is the first job we're getting from him and if we can respond with high quality and timely translation, more larger jobs will follow.

In order to to this work, we will need to create an account for you in our system and you will need to use our translation software (which is free for you). The software runs on Windows XP/Vista.

Payment for this work, after reducing our fees is 0.056 USD/Word. We pay with PayPal (PayPal fees are on us).

Special requirements to the applicants:
1) We will only work with native Swedish speakers.
2) You will need to supply your translation degree from English to Swedish.

Details of the project: Transperfect Translations is currently hiring English into Swedish External Quality Managers. This is a great opportunity for individuals with language/translation/editing experience (teachers, recent grads, grad students, etc.) to earn extra money through freelance work. Our standard rate for External Quality Management is $18/hour.

Transperfect employs three steps in the translation of documents: translation, proofreading, and quality management. The last step is very important, as it is the last time a document is edited before it is sent to the client.

We require that candidates be native Swedish speakers with a College Degree and some editing experience.

English to Swedish Hardware Translation Job: Job 00001507

Details of the project: We are currently looking to set up a team of English into Swedish translators, specialised in the field of computer hardware to translate the regular volumes of work that we handle for an ongoing client of ours, a company that manufactures hardware (printers, photocopiers, faxes etc). The material for translation consists of the User Manuals for this hardware.

The translation project will range in size from 16k to 17k words. We usually receive a project every two weeks from this client.

Please note that translations for these projects will need to be completed using our client’s online translation tool. Therefore, Trados is not required although will be looked on favourably as previous experience with translation tools.

You will be required to complete a short test piece before being integrated into the preferred team.
