Details of the project: Crimson Interactive Pvt. Ltd. is a translation and editing company based in India that caters to the Japanese market. - Translation-checking all Japanese to English and English to Japanese assignments
- Evaluation of new translators and periodic assess of existing translators (Quality Management)
- Giving appropriate feedback to translators to promote learning and improve performance
- Preparation of guidelines for translators and translation proofreaders
- Assisting the Client Servicing team in email translation and communicating with clients in Japanese
- Website translation work

Requirements for the role of Translation Checker:

- Native Japanese language skills
- Near-native/fluent English language skills
- Well-read, knowledgeable and academically oriented
- Technically proficient (should be able to do effective online research, especially for terminology). Should be familiar with commonly used translation and terminology databases.
- Experience in translation or translation-checking will be preferred
