Technical details, the applied mathematical registration algorithms and an experimental validation of the precision of navigation in an fMRI-TMS study are published in an appropriate scientific journal:
Neggers SF, Langerak TR, Schutter DJ, Mandl RC, Ramsey NF, Lemmens PJ, Postma A (2004). A stereotactic method for image-guided transcranial magnetic stimulation validated with fMRI and motor-evoked potentials. Neuroimage 21:1805-1817.
The empirical validation demonstrated in multiple ways that the accuracy of targeting a brain area with the average accuracy of The Neural Navigator in targeting a brain area is 3mm ± 2.1mm (when using at least 6 craniotopic markers) when navigating with the hand-held probe, and 5mm ± 2.1mm when navigating with the TMS coil. It is advisable to read the above paper thoroughly in order to understand the algorithms and techniques behind the point-based registration techniques used in The Neural Navigator for spatially accurate neural navigation. It will make it easier to understand why all the steps described in this manual are necessary, and avoid any mistakes in handling the system. Since the exact same techniques described in the above paper are adopted in The Neural Navigator, this paper can also be cited in your research reports when using this system to prove you used proper and accurate neuronavigation. • At least two years of proven experience in the subtitling industry (includes ability to provide completed subtitles fully proofread and with time codes)
• Specialisation in TV or related media
• Computer literacy
• Residency in the country of your mother tongue
• Excellent command of the English language
In addition, please can you also provide the following information along with your current CV for application:
1. A short paragraph detailing your work experience along with details of your pedigree of current or previous clients
2. What rate you charge per minute of subtitling in pounds sterling
3. What, if any, software that you use to produce subtitles, for example Swift or Fab or Wincaps, plus your internet broadband speed, for example 2MB
