Details of the project: We are a new patent attorney firm based in the UK. We are looking for experienced freelance patent translators, who are confident in handling patent translation from English into German in one or more of the all technical fields, such as:

Electronics, Mechanics, Biology, Chemistry and Medicine.

We’d love to hear from experienced patent translators. Please tell us your quotation (per 100 words) and the technical fields that you are conformable working in. Ideally, we’d like to build up a long term relationship and we’d appreciate your most favourable quotation.

We have a requirement of translation from English to French, an application containing approximately 25000 words. The translator has to install the application in their system and carryout the translation work. The installed software will contain technical strings in English which needs to be translated into French. The subject of the translation is related to Customer Resource Management.
Instructions will be given to the translators as and how to carryout the translation. The application has to be tested and sent back.

Profil :
- Une bonne maîtrise de l’anglais est indispensable.
- Nous recherchons des personnes à l’aise avec Internet et dotées d’un accès au Web.
- Une formation en informatique est utile mais pas indispensable.
- Si vous n’êtes pas Belge, vous devez résider en Belgique depuis au moins 5 ans.
- Un certificat de langue anglaise reconnu (p. ex. certificats du Cambridge) serait un atout.

Votre tâche sera d’évaluer des moteurs de recherche. Les horaires sont souples et adaptables à une vie de famille. Dans ce sens, cette activité est idéale pour une personne recherchant un équilibre entre travail et vie de famille (10-20 heures par semaine).
