Details of the project: We’ll have approximately 3800 words of onscreen text to be translated and an additional 3100 words of voice over script to be translate and recorded. The onscreen text is derived from the voice over narration and hence I would expect some reduction in the cost of translating on screen text as repetitions will be very high here.

We’ll need audio to be recorded, spliced and renamed as per naming convention that we’ll provide in the voiceover script.

Special requirements to the applicants: Both these modules are on the same topic “Security Awareness Training”. Target audience for these modules is all employees of our customer who use a computer at the work place.

Details of the project: I am looking for a part time translator of high standard to work with us on a regular basis. We pay above average for good translations. For example if a documnet is 5000 words you approximate pay for this translation would be 700-1000 rmb (depending on how much polishing would have to be done). Urgent translations (turnaround in 2 days) pay 15% higher as do technical language translations.

We are aiming to be the best translation company in Chengdu and have a two tiered system.

* I send the translation to the translator for assessment
* The translator tells me how long it would take (and when it would be finished)
* I advise the client
