Details of the project: Wir suchen nach derzeit einem oder zwei Übersetzern für die genannten Sprachenpaare mit einer Affinität zum Thema Handy.

Es sind gesprochene Anfragen (mp3, wav) aus einer Mailbox abzuhören und ins Deutsche zu übersetzen. Der Übersetzer bekommt eine Antwort auf seine Übersetzung auf Deutsch und muss diese Antwort ins Dänische und/oder Schwedische übersetzen. Der übersetzte Text wird dann vorgelesen (vielleicht auch vom Übersetzer selbst).

Das Projekt läuft schon und wird mittelfristig zu einer Hotline bzw. einem Ganztags-Job.

Als Bewerber eignen sich auch flexible jüngere Übersetzer, sprachgewandte Studenten oder Wiedereinsteiger/innen.

Wir bitten um Angebote mit kurzem CV (Bezug zum Thema und Sprachausbildung), Referenzen (falls vorhanden) und Ihren Preisvorstellungen. Hier bitten wir um sehr moderate Preise, entsprechend zum Thema. Die Preise bitte als Stunden- und Tagespauschale und auch als Zeilenpreis (55 Anschläge) oder falls möglich als Wortpreis (besser) anbieten: Bitte um genaue Angaben für min. drei oder alle Möglichkeiten (es werden nur vollständige Angaben berücksichtigt).

German to Danish Technical and Marketing Translation Job: Job 00002056

Details of the project: Good afternoon. We are seeking new translators to join thebigword, in our permanent co-operation with a German-based manufacturer of bathroom suites and technologies.

The successful applicant will be Danish mother-tongue, with three years translation experience. They should be familiar with technical texts, and also have a flair for marketing and advertising style. Trados 6.5 or above will be required to qualify, and there is a brief test translation of 360 words to carry out, for approval by our client.

If you match these requirements, would be available and interested in regular volumes of work, we would be very pleased to hear from you!

German Danish Job: Medical Devices for Ophthalmic Surgery - Instructions: Job 00002054

Details of the project: World class German manufacturer of medical devices for ophthalmic surgery (intraocular lenses, viscoelastic ophthalmic devices, other ophthalmic implants) is currently recruiting translators for Nordic languages.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in the field of medical technology translations, preferrably in ophthalmology or optometry. Experience in medical/technical documentation would be greatly appreciated.

Candidates should be willing to submit a small volume sample translation (approx. 50 words). Average word count of our instructions for use / directions is 600 words.

Trados is not essential but would be beneficial.
