Details of the project: I am currently seeking an Indonesian Linguist. This position will entail translation of technical and scientific material from one or more languages into correct, idiomatic English using a computer word processing program. On occasions, the linguist will translate words, phases, and documents into the target language. This contract will assist the production offices in meeting the requirements for the collection, analysis, evaluation of geographic names and boundary intelligence found principally in foreign language sources. This contract will also assist in the population of the Geographic Names Data Base (GNDB). This position is located in Bethesda, MD and doesn’t require any deployments OCONUS.
