English - Arabic Article Translation

Details of the project: We are about to launch a new
Educational site on Translation. We are looking forward to
translating articles in different fields. Our vision is
promoting translation experience exchange among colleagues
as well as enhancing the capacities of new translators.
Moreover, articles selected are to be useful for the
Arabic readers & researchers.
Contributed translators will be paid according to the
agreement and all their intellectual rights will be
reserved; each published work will contain the
translator's name and contact details as well as any other
required details as agreed.
Applicants are kindly requested to:
(1) specify the following:
- Field(s) of translation they master
- Their rate per / 250 words (in Egyptian Pounds)
- Their suggestions and recommendations, if any
(2) Send at least 100-word translation sample for each
field of translation
Please note that not specifying your average rate means
that you prefer to work as a volunteer which of course is
welcome for this non-profitable project. In fact, making
this matter clear is a must.

English to
Arabic Translator Needed

Details of the project: We are seeking an English to Arabic
translator for text primarily dealing with real estate focused
blog entries. The translation would be nothing elaborate or
strenuous. There would be several posts (each a paragraph or two)
of text each week that would need translated. We would pay either
"per-post" or "by the hour."
We have not discussed the payment
options in detail, but rather, are initially seeking interest from
a motivated individual capable of quick, efficient, and localized

Requirements:
Must be a U.S. citizen or a green card holder originally from Iraq
Must be willing to obtain a security clearance
Must be proficient in reading, writing, listening and speaking in
Arabic and English
Must be willing to relocate overseas to Iraq
Duties:
Provide operational contract linguist support to U.S. Army
operations in Iraq.
Provide general linguistic support for military operations and
interpret during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
Interpret and translate written and spoken communications.
Transcribe and analyze communications.
Perform document exploitation.
Scan, research, and analyze foreign language documents for key
information.
Translate foreign language documents.
Identify and extract information components meeting military
information requirements.
Provide input to reports.
Vacation/Leave:
2 weeks paid vacation/leave for every 6 months of service. 4 weeks
total vacation for the entire 12 month contract.

or Kuwait for a period of one year.
