Details of the project: We are seeking a Chinese (Simple/Traditional)
to English translator for text primarily dealing with real estate
focused blog entries. The translation would be nothing elaborate
or strenuous. There would be several posts (each a paragraph or
two) of text each week that would need translated. We would pay
either "per-post" or "by the hour." We have not discussed the
payment options in detail, but rather, are initially seeking
interest from a motivated individual capable of quick, efficient,

Details of the project: The successful candidate will be employed by
Global Web Edit (GWE) on a freelance contract basis and will be
responsible for translating documents and marketing copy from
Chinese to English.
Location: Either based in Hong Kong or mainland China.
Reporting: To GWE project manager
Qualifications:
Educated to degree level, preferably majoring in linguistics
1 - 2 years relevant translation experience
Good command of spoken and written Chinese/Cantonese, English and
Putonghua
Well versed in Simplified Chinese characters an advantage
Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese Word Processing
Self-motivated and able to produce high quality work independently
under tight deadlines
