Slovakian Interpreter needed -Queens NY 4/28: Job 00026785

Details of the project: KJI is seeking a Slovakian Interpreter for April 28th in Queens New York for Consecutive Interpreting Services to assist with a deposition.

KJI adheres to the EN 15038 standard so educational verification is required and a scanned copy of your diploma will need to be received for documentation purposes. We also require:

Native Slovak speaker - Mother tongue
Minimum of 2-5 years experience providing consecutive interpreting services in the legal field.

We are also seeking a PQ Interpreters only:

(a) Passed the U.S. Department of State conference or seminar interpreter test in a language pair that includes English and the target language. The U.S. Department of State's escort interpreter test is not accepted as qualifying.

(b) Passed the interpreter test of the United Nations in a language pair that includes English and the target language.

(c) Is a current member in good standing of:

(1) the Association Internationale des Interprètes de Conférence (AIIC); or
(2) The American Association of Language Specialists (TAALS).
The language pair of the membership qualification must be English and the target language.
