Very large JPN>ENG translation project: Job 00026714

Details of the project: Linguistic Systems is expecting to begin a very large legal discovery translation project, JPN>ENG, for which we need many translators. The language is mainly business and technical (electronics, semiconductors, etc.), and the files are in Word, PPT, and PDF.
Because of confidentiality requirements, you will need to work online, either with our web-based translation memory tool, MemSource, or through our VPN (virtual private network) system - you will not be able to download files directly to your computer. We will provide training and support for both scenarios.
The project will begin on Mar. 10 and end on Mar. 31, and we can give you as much work as you can handle.
For those working through MemSource, we propose to pay the full rate for new words (74% match or below), 67% of your word rate for fuzzy matches (75% - 99%) and 25% for 100% matches and repetitions.
If you are interested, please respond as soon as possible and include your rates in USD per English word and how many words you can handle per day.
Special requirements to the applicants: Note: we do NOT pay in euros. You must quote in USD per English word.
We will pay for this job 0.09 EUR per word
