Details of the project: Dear linguists,
Latin Link is looking for a Latin America based translation project manager. Native Spanish speaker and fluent in English. The below is an outline of the requirement for the role.
Main Responsibilities:
• Respond to client requests quickly, professionally and concisely.
• Arrange with the client, dates, timings and the scope of work.
• Arrange with translators pricing, deadlines and work involved.
• Record all dealings in the project tracker regarding, agreements with the client and translator costs.
• Update the directors on any problems.
• Maximise profit where possible.
• Troubleshoot translators and client queries.
• Take care of pre-translation and pos-translation tasks related to CAT tools.
• Quality control all documents before they are sent to the client. This may include spell check and filling in
QA forms.
• Keep connected to translators on Skype.
• Completing admin tasks.
• Respond to queries 0830 - 1800 GMT.
• Eventually do some translation / editing / proofreading in subjects according to the PM's expertise.
Other responsibilities:
• Any request from the directors.
• Ad hoc market research, sales or marketing as required.
• Expanding, validating and testing the translator database across a selection of languages
• Blog writing.
• Some travel may be required.
Trial period of 3 Months - Salary review after three months.
Transfer made via wire transfer Bank.
Management service invoice to be raised.
We will pay for this job 0.12 EUR per word
