Details of the project: The JP-EN Translation Quality Associate will be involved in improving our translation quality.
This makes the position challenging and is ideal for those who are interested in continual
learning and self-development while playing their role. We are looking for candidates who

that delivers high-quality translation assignments, and want to be part of an organization where

Eligibility Criteria:

Special requirements to the applicants: Should have minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Academic Translation
• Should hold at least a bachelor's degree in any field
• Should be native Japanese
• Expertise in academic subjects
• Certifications in translation and/or academic translation would be preferred

Sample text (50 to 200 words): Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Operations
o Checking Translator quality post translation by evaluating translated files and
correcting files if need be
o Checking Translation Checker quality by evaluating translated files and
correcting files if need be
o Evaluating source text for optimum assignment management
• Translator/Translation Checker Quality Management
o Improving T/TC quality by giving them guidance and feedback on assignments
completed
o Analyzing feedback provided to T/TCs
o Troubleshooting and attending to T/TC questions or queries
o Assisting in the recruitment process of T/TCs
o Conducting quality checks for T/TC files and giving them feedback
o Preparing guidelines, protocols, checklists, glossaries and such other
documentation as per need
• Analyzing client feedback
o Be a part of client complaint analysis by commenting on the translation output
and contribution of T/TCs on the assignment
o Checking client feedback for assignments completed and comments on translation
output

Compensation:
USD 2000 per month, depending on the experience and qualification [fixed component plus
variable performance bonus (5% assured, up to 20%]

We will pay for this job 30 EUR per hour
