Details of the project: This is a Permanent Vacancy. Working as a bilingual Arabic, English translator you will work closely with the Doha International Airport management team as DIA’s official translator and interpreter, accompanying the management team to meetings and providing translation of minutes. You will also provide translation of legal contracts and documents from Arabic to English and English to Arabic, reading and rewriting material to provide accurate legal translations as well as proofreading text to ensure any corrections are accurate and text is of a publishable quality.
To be successful in this role you will have:
• Proven experience working in a similar Arabic, English translation role producing high quality translation and proofreading
• Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic language skills
• A sound knowledge of grammar, sentence structure, punctuation, and word meanings
• A degree or equivalent qualification in law
• Knowledge of legislative process and government structure
