Job Description: Candidate makes his/her own schedule working from home, no benefits; this is a commission-based sales position. Candidate must be located in New York / New Jersey / Pennsylvania area.
Responsibilities:
• Establish business relationships with targeted companies, generate new leads and identify decision makers for translation services within these companies.
• Schedule meetings with identified decision makers to discuss their translation needs and the advantages of working with Capital Translations, Inc.
• Maintain regular contact with all accounts to obtain translation assignments (including creation of RFPs, submitting proposals and quotes, sales presentations, and closing).
• Attend various networking events in order to obtain sales prospects through networking activities.
• Provide timely reporting on all aspects of activity.
Job Requirements:
• Prospecting, cold calling, relationship building, opportunity identification, overcoming objection and closing
• Ability to make presentations
• Accurate and timely reporting to management both verbally and in writing
• Candidate must have at least 2-3 years of sales experience
• Must be easily reachable both via e-mail and phone
• Must be computer literate
• Experience in translation industry is preferred
• Knowledge of other language(s) is a plus
