How do I report about the non-paying company Baltic Translations http://www.translationdirectory.com/job_00037075.php except sending an email to CEO at translationdirectory.com?

Please ban Baltic Translations! They dont pay their translators. Read the review on Google. Proz.com has already banned them! This website is very reliable and scam agencies shouldnt be here!

Dear Evgeny, did they pay you? As i have the same problem now. Translation done in February. Got an email that i did excellent job. But no payment. Sent like ten emails. Phoned three times. No one is responsible. Thanks a lot

They paid immediately after leaving a complaint here. So I recommend doing the same. After that I've decided not to take any jobs from them without full advanced payment, which they refuse to provide.

I had to go after Baltic for about a year before I finally got paid. They ran an ad here on Translation Directory saying they were looking for "long term partners," I translated a contract and then had to threaten to blacklist them beore they finally paid up.

It looks like this company is one to watch out for.

I actually signed a contract with their company about a year ago, which was after I had to chase them around for a measly 40 Euros for nearly a year. They promised they were going to change and do everything above board, yet, even though I am an approved Chinese to English and English to Chinese translator with their company, they always send new notices looking for "long-term partners." They don't send me any translation orders at all, because their are obviously just looking for unsuspecting "fresh meat" to scam. This company is seriously a shady company at best.

The founder of Baltic Translations is criminal man Versk Dabar. He worked with managers Lelde Volonte, Sandra and Inga Kausa. The company was closed in november 2019 in Riga.

Dear Sir or Madam,

this company has not compensated me for my work.

Please do your best incl. making aware via e-mail straight forward once any party contacted by them so that this company stop contacting freelancers since I could astonishingly follow up today that other freelancers had complained about the same company even after the latter had contacted me about a project this year.

?

Kind regard,

A. Aleksandrov

This company is unbelievable. They don't answer to email, apparently, they don't have a phone ( a person via email told me), that is almost a joke! they do NOT pay. Luckily I have done only 1 project with them....this was in March and they promised 70 euro, cos they can not afford more than that. Blah! NEVER EVER work with them!

Same here.I have made a job for them in July and of course no trace of payment. It's weird because their page and emails they send, look quite reliable. Always, when you call them, they respond, however at the begining they seem to be very active. Be careful with this company!
It should be on the black list!

Did an assignment in June for Baltic Translations. They seemed reliable through their mails but after the job was complete they were extremely slow to respond. They even gave me a date of payment of the invoice but they never paid me. I have sent them dozens of mails. No response whatsoever. Please blacklist this company. Never work for them. I am having a horrible experience chasing my payment.

Baltic Translations - Nonpayer - BE AWARE!               [Reply to this message]
Sender: Krista Sprude 06-03-2018 09:58

Hello!
I would like to share my experience and recommend other translators not to cooperate with the agency Baltic Translations.

They do not fulfil their liabilities towards the translators. When they need you to translate a job, they try to be as nice as possible, promising to pay on time. But unfortunately the reality is far from that. I translated for them a project in October, but I am still chasing for them every week and trying to get the money I have earned for the job. They make excuses and promise from one week to another, but so far did not succeed to fulfil the promise.

The bad thing is that they have won some of the quite big and important local translation procurements with the national law enforcement authorities. They are currently in a big need of translators, because a lot of the local professionals have refused to cooperate with them. Therefore I would recommend all translators to be careful with them and ask for pre-payment or otherwise deny the job as you will have to chase for them for a long time afterwards. They do not even let the translators in their office, they are not willing to communicate with translators at all after you've completed the job.

I would like confirm the message put forward here, as I got scammed by this company recently. I completed translations for them in December and still haven't received payment. They promise to pay and keep sending one document after another to sign, but it is obvious that they have no intention of doing so. DO NOT accept work from Baltic Translations!

They owe me currently almost 2500 euros for a huge translation project.
I have not heard anything from them since submitting documents for billing.

Even before there were problems on paying small amounts but at the end I always received payments. But know no more.

Baltic Translations seems to be a scam and they need to be brought down to justice.
