Telephone Interpreting
Hello everybody,
I'm a translator and English teacher and currently finishing my Masters' Degree. I'm writing my thesis on Telephone Interpreting, as it's becoming more and more important, but there still aren't enough courses available to prepare (future) interpreters for this especially tricky task.
I put together a very short questionnaire to find out about people's experiences in the field, so if anyone has ever done Telephone Interpreting, no matter why, how or in which languages, I would be very grateful if you took a moment and told me a little bit about what it was like (it really takes 5 minutes or less). You can comment right here or send your answers to sandy.horn@hotmail.com. It's naturally all anonymous.
Thank you all very much in advance! :)
