BEWARE
I was contacted myself by RealTranslationJobs.com and I was offered a coupon to jon for half the price: BEWARE
You should never pay to work! If that's the way you start, why should you ever get payed for the work you've done?
In addition in professional translations it is important to know what you are translating and what country you are in in order to give a quotation. Any professional will agree translating movie speech is different from translating Bureaucratic or scientific papers.
Usually translations are quoted in charachters per page: ex. 1500 characters or 1800 characters. According to the type of document it is (simple conversation to scientific paper) revenues in Italy can average between 10 euro to 15 maximum 20 euro a page for very specific language translating.
I don't know how it works in other countries but according to the cost of life I can imagine Translators in France will have to charge more whilst a Translator in India can charge less.
It is important to know who commissiones the job and have a clear contract BEFORE starting!
BEWARE of SCAMS: it is not nice to work and then not be payed for it, all the most if you've payed in advance!
