This
month, ENLASO
released a first set of open source localization tools
as part of its Okapi
framework. The open source suite currently
includes Olifant, a .NET application for creating
and managing translation memories, and Tikal, a utility
that executes utilities from a DOS command line. Look
for a Q and A with ENLASO's Yves Savourel in the November
issue of Open Source Update. OSU is also looking forward
to testing the new release (6) of Heartsome,
currently the only commercial general-purpose CAT
tool that both runs on Linux and fully supports OpenOffice.org.
